One year olds are always a lot of fun. Busy, busy, busy. They have so much to do, learn and take in, that its a pretty big inconvience to stop and smile for a picture no matter how funny you think you are! And heaven forbid you tell them to stay in one spot! Its a challenge, but sooo worth it, as there is so much personality bursting out of these little people. Just look at that crinkly nose!
This little guy arrived just in time for the holidays! He was a trooper and put up with us fussing with him when all he wanted was a good nap! I loved the little cowboy boots...those were dad's! The boots are teeny, but look huge next to him!

The S family had a great idea that I had never thought of...head to a christmas tree farm for holiday pics. We went to Buddy's tree farm in Sebastopol. If you haven't gotten your tree yet...check them out! We got ours there and it was a great family excursion...there is even a train track/village in the wreath barn.

It was a very cold and foggy morning, so we started out with a few indoor studio shots and then headed out in the fog. I think it worked out well, the fog really adds to the wintery/christmas feel.
This little guy is all boy. He's an explorer and always going! It was great to be able to go outside and let him be himself...thats when the smiles came out!
Although I really like something about his expressive eyes in this first one!
A is now the proud big sister of this cutie. She did a great job helping with pictures...and did a good job of being in them too (thanks to Bibbity Bobbity Boo song, and my amazing skills at balancing a ball on my head, ha!) I was also excited to use my new angel wings! You'd never guess this little guy is a month and a half already! He looks like a newborn angel! I also got to try out my new basket...its just the perfect shape and size...and we snuck a family one in too. Believe it or not the dog came over, sat down and posed JUST right all by herself. She was not going to be left out of this one!
Little miss Q has to share her 3 month sneak peek with her cutie cousins. We had a fun marathon shoot with newborn M, and cousins all together, AND miss Q's 3 month milestone. We were dying to get in a teacup shot before she gets too big...which by the look of things would be SOON! Mom swears her hair isn't red...it just photographs that way (um...right, mom :) Looking redder every day to me...and that porcelain skin sort of gives away the future, I think...gorgeous!
